TATYANA ELLISON, MD, FAPA
Board Certified Psychiatrist
Dr. Ellison has co-created Kintsugi Mind Spa and Life Guidance Center along with Mr. Sweeney to create a completely unique way of navigating life’s challenges. In the course of practicing psychiatry, she noticed that patients’ progress was frequently limited due to the insurance limitations on the number of visits they can have, the type of treatment allowed by their insurance, and the time allowed to spend with a patient by the administration.
She wanted to build a place where her patients could come and receive care that they need without limitations put on them by people with no qualifications to make those decisions. She hopes that we will be able to develop a lifetime relationship where you can come anytime to help you navigate through the different life stages.
Dr. Ellison is a board certified psychiatrist who completed her residency training in Harvard Longwood Residency program in Boston, MA. She is a member of American Medical Association, American Psychiatric Association, California Psychiatric Association, and American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry. She is trained to deliver both pharmacologic and nonpharmacologic treatment. Her preferred modes of therapy include Psychodynamic, Interpersonal, Acceptance and Commitment, Behavioral Activation, and Mindfulness therapies.
In her free time Dr. Ellison enjoys interior design, physical fitness, and traveling.
JOSH SWEENEY, CPC
Life and Business Coach
I am passionate about helping people live the life they deserve. As a Life and Business Coach, I work with people looking to make massive improvements in their lives. We don’t always see the potential in ourselves, but every one of us has amazing potential and sometimes we just need a little help tapping into that.
My life has been a journey of discovering my best self, so I know it’s possible to experience an incredible transformation through the power of coaching. I work with people from all different walks of life looking to transform several areas — relationships, career, health or finances. No matter what you want out of life, I will help you unlock your potential to achieve it.
Often, I refer to myself as a Personal Life Navigation System. Wouldn’t it be cool if you could type in where you want to go in life and you would get turn by turn directions just like on the navigation system on your phone or in your car. This is what I do with you, I help you navigate you from where you are to where you want to be.
My second passion in life is my family. I love spending time with my amazing wife and daughter. I also enjoy fitness, martial arts, meditation and the outdoors.
HIEU PHAM, LCSW
Therapist – EMDR Certified
Hieu knew she wanted to be a therapist by the time she was 12. She noticed that people all around her, people who didn’t exactly consider her a friend, would open up to her about their secret difficulties and found her trustworthy. Hieu understood it was a privilege to be trusted and looked to for support by them.
Completing both her Bachelors and her Masters of Social Work at San Diego State University, Hieu started her career as community organizer and a program developer. Hieu had a strong desire to help others by tackling challenges in large numbers. Years into this work, Hieu was presented with the opportunity to shift gears and work with individuals again. She became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with special interest in becoming trauma informed in her work. Hieu pursued advanced trainings in trauma focused modalities and ultimately became a Certified EMDR Therapist to wholly dedicate herself to supporting survivors of trauma who sought healing.
Hieu believes in her practice that approaching a client as a learner allows for the deepest level of growth and transformation to occur. Mostly, it enables individuals to learn how to coexist with everything that makes that individual the best they can be.
In her free time, Hieu loves to indulge in good food and dessert with close friends and family, as well as relaxing with a good book.
